About Us
About Us

Who we are

LXA is a client-side project delivery partner operating across the Middle East. We lead ambitious projects on behalf of clients, bringing together strategic thinking, commercial intelligence, design understanding, and delivery expertise to guide complex developments from concept through to completion.

We are not the contractor. We are not the designer. We are the client-side construction consultancy that brings every part of a project together, providing the leadership, coordination, and accountability needed to turn ambitious visions into successful outcomes. Working alongside clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders, we keep teams aligned, decisions informed, and delivery moving forward.

Our expertise spans project management, cost management, and design management across the residential, hospitality, commercial, and education sectors throughout the GCC. Headquartered in Dubai, with an established presence in Riyadh, we support clients across the wider Middle East, delivering projects with clarity, confidence, and a genuine commitment to their objectives.

Our Beginnings
Our Beginnings

The LXA story

LXA was founded by David Rees, an architect who trained and practised in the profession before becoming increasingly frustrated by the same problem he encountered on project after project. The design talent was there. The ambition was there. But too often, projects struggled because no one was truly accountable for the difficult side of delivery: contracts, budgets, programme, procurement, and the countless day-to-day decisions that could quietly derail even the most considered design.

David set out to change that. His vision was straightforward: cut through the noise, remove unnecessary complexity, and provide clear, professional advice with a sleeves-rolled-up attitude. He believed clients deserved a trusted partner who would take ownership, solve problems, and do whatever was needed to keep projects moving forward. He started out alone, working from home with little more than an idea and a belief that by staying true to those principles, he could build something different.

From the very beginning, LXA was built on the belief that successful projects depend on more than good design. They depend on trusted leadership, genuine partnership, and people who are prepared to take ownership from the first conversation through to final delivery.

Our journey

At LXA, design, delivery and cost sit in the same team, so what's drawn is what gets built. We've worked this way for over 25 years. Our core services are interior design, project management and cost consultancy, delivered by the same team whether you need one discipline or all three.

We also support projects with building surveying and procurement, brought in where a project's technical or supply chain needs call for it. Successful projects depend on timely decisions and clear leadership. That's the role we play.

2000

David founded LXA in London after recognising a gap at the heart of the industry. Too many projects were falling short not because of poor design, but because the accountability, structure, and delivery expertise needed to bring them to life simply wasn't there. LXA was built to provide exactly that.

How We Work
How We Work

Our approach

Our approach to project delivery is built around structure, transparency, and proactive management. We establish clear project governance from the outset, put the right project controls in place early, and maintain consistent oversight throughout so that nothing important is missed and issues are addressed before they become more difficult to resolve.

We anticipate challenges before they become problems. We communicate openly and act decisively. We adapt when projects shift, without losing direction or compromising the standards the project demands. We take complete ownership of delivery, acting on behalf of our clients and giving them confidence that every stage of the project is being actively managed. We are also commercially minded in every recommendation we make, challenging unnecessary expenditure and helping clients achieve the best possible value throughout the project lifecycle.

Our delivery strategy is always shaped around the client's objectives. What does success look like for this client, on this project? That question sits at the centre of everything we plan and every decision we make. Our Approach explores these principles in more detail, explaining how they shape the way we work with clients and deliver projects across the Middle East.

Our Values
Our Values

What we believe

LXA exists to set the benchmark for how ambitious projects are imagined, led, and delivered. That ambition is guided by a simple set of values that shape how we work every day.

They are not words on a wall or principles reserved for internal conversations. They are the behaviours our clients experience on every project and the standards we hold ourselves to, regardless of project size, sector, or location.

We believe in ownership – taking responsibility for outcomes, not just process. We believe trust is earned through actions, not words. We believe precision comes from caring about the details others overlook, while momentum comes from communicating openly, acting decisively, and keeping projects moving forward when circumstances change.

Above all, we believe in invested partnership. We invest in the relationships we build with clients, consultants, contractors, and our own people because the best projects are built together. Through trusted leadership, genuine collaboration, and a shared commitment to success, we help turn ambitious visions into successful outcomes.

Our Team
Our Team

Meet our leadership

LXA is built on the quality of its people. Our team brings together project managers, cost consultants, design managers, and technical specialists with experience across some of the most complex and demanding developments in the Middle East and beyond.

While each discipline brings its own expertise, we work as one team. That collaborative approach allows us to see projects from every angle, make better-informed decisions, and provide clients with joined-up advice throughout the project lifecycle.

Our people are trusted not only for their technical knowledge, but for the way they work with clients and project teams. Approachable, accountable, and committed to delivering the best possible outcome, they embody the values that have shaped LXA since the very beginning.

Our presence in the Middle East

LXA has been operating in the Middle East for nearly two decades. Our Dubai office serves as the hub of our regional operation, with deep roots in the UAE construction market and an established understanding of how projects are delivered in this region. Our Riyadh office extends that reach into Saudi Arabia, where the scale and ambition of today's development activity represents some of the most significant construction programmes in the world.

We understand the GCC construction market from the inside. The contractor landscape, procurement environment, regulatory frameworks, and the expectations of clients delivering projects at the highest level are all things we have built our practice around.

Over nearly two decades in the region, we have built an extensive network of trusted contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and specialist consultants. Combined with our established international procurement network, this allows us to identify the most appropriate sourcing strategy for each project, balancing quality, programme, availability, and commercial value while supporting the best possible outcome for our clients.

That regional knowledge, combined with the standards and rigour of our London heritage, enables us to provide trusted, client-side leadership across some of the Middle East's most ambitious developments.
