Intersect by Lexus
A "third space" Lexus brand experience devised by Japanese designers Wonderwall; winner, Interior Design of the Year (Retail), SBID International Interior Design Awards.

Intersect by Lexus is a "third space" brand experience devised by Japanese design studio Wonderwall, bringing the concept from its original Tokyo site to the Middle East. LXA provided Design Management, working with Wonderwall and Al Futtaim Motors on a project that went on to win Interior Design of the Year at the SBID International Interior Design Awards.
Case Study Overview
Intersect by Lexus set out to be neither a dealership nor a traditional retail space, but a "third space" between home and work where guests could experience the Lexus brand without ever getting behind the wheel.
We provided design management for the Middle East manifestation of the concept, working closely with Japanese design studio Wonderwall and Toyota distributor Al Futtaim Motors to bring Wonderwall's original Tokyo vision to a second market.
Translating a highly considered Japanese design language into a new region meant protecting the integrity of the original concept while adapting it for local delivery, a balance that ran through every stage of the project.
The project won Interior Design of the Year in the Retail Design category at the SBID International Interior Design Awards.
