This conference and events space in Holborn occupies the Grade II listed Prudential Assurance Building, home to 40 meeting spaces accommodating up to 200 people. We acted as Project Managers and Cost Managers on the full refurbishment, including a new theatre-style kitchen in the basement vaults.
Case Study Overview
Prudential's Holborn building needed a full refurbishment to become a genuine state-of-the-art event and entertaining space, while respecting its status as a Grade II listed building.
We acted as project managers and cost managers throughout, overseeing sympathetic alterations to the existing fabric alongside a complete replacement of building services and data infrastructure.
The scope included a new theatre-style kitchen and dining facility built into the basement vaults, and a large new reception space on the ground floor, with real challenges around the scale of the original vault doors and threading new services through listed fabric.
The refurbished building combines historic charm and modern city style, delivering 40 flexible meeting spaces for up to 200 people in the heart of London.
