Cutfish Dubai brings the brand's contemporary Japanese izakaya concept to Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab Marina, its first UAE outpost after successful launches in London and Moscow. We were appointed as the Lead Design Consultant, including Project Management, Design Management and Cost Management on the fit-out.
Case Study Overview
Founded by Alexander Oganezov, Cutfish made its UAE debut in Dubai following successful launches in London and Moscow. The project needed to introduce the concept to a new market without losing what made the original outposts work.
We took on lead design consultancy alongside project management, design management and cost management, delivering an interior built around modern Japanese design, warm wood accents and clean lines.
Working within a relatively compact site required careful technical coordination with the landlord and wider consultant team, particularly to integrate the design and operational requirements within the available space.
The restaurant retains Cutfish's identity while feeling at home on Dubai's waterfront.
