Eaton Square Senior School converted a Grade I listed building into a modern independent secondary school for 450 pupils, with classrooms, music rooms, assembly halls and a contemporary refectory. We acted as Project Managers and Cost Managers for Dukes Education.
Case Study Overview
Eaton Square Senior School required a major restoration and refurbishment of a Grade I listed building, converting it into a modern independent secondary school for 450 pupils.
We acted as project managers, cost managers and design managers across the scheme.
The top two floors became classrooms and music rooms, the first floor housed assembly halls, meeting rooms and the headmaster's office, while the ground floor and basement were converted into well-equipped spaces for art, drama and science, alongside a contemporary refectory.
Working within a Grade I listed building added real heritage constraints to a project that needed to function as a fully modern school from day one.
