Case Study Overview
Gigi Rigolatto set out to bring the spirit of the original St. Tropez beach club to Dubai's J1 Beach development, blending Italian flair with a garden, private pool, Bellini bar, kids' club and concept store.
We took on lead design consultancy alongside project management, cost management and technical design delivery, working closely with architect Hugo Toro to realise his vision on the ground.
The project involved strategic planning to integrate the scheme within its beachfront setting, navigating geotechnical and authority challenges alongside the coordination of a wide range of stakeholders. Through a targeted value engineering exercise, we developed alternative options that reduced costs by approximately 40–50%, bringing the project back in line with the client's budget while protecting the overall design intent.
The completed beach club is a refined coastal destination that has become one of J1 Beach's signature draws.
